What's a specific type of snowboard to get if I want a lot of control+good all mountain?

I love carving and turning lots and feeling in control. I don't like bombing slopes but I like riding easy at times... I don't want a beginner board cuz they feel all awkward even though they are 'forgiving' as they say.... Don't really even know what that means...
