My mom tried to kill herself.?

Im 14. Im a freshman in high school i have a little brother and my mom has a fiance. she didnt seem to have anything going wrong in her life but when i woke up this morning i was informed and was taken straight to the hospital. my mom is still sleep and they pumped her stomach. (she tried to kill herself with pills and wine) im afraid of what im going to feel when she wakes up, or what im going to say. her mom has also done the exact same thing, so im very scared that it is hereditary and i dont want to end up like that.. please tell me what i should do when she wakes up or what i should say and if i should tell people at school whats wrong or not.. thank you..
