Wouldnt God have more to say?

Whether you're Muslim or jewish or Christian, your religious texts are many centuries old. What about all the people born before, and since then? Is it not curious that God only needed to speak to Moses, or Jesus, or Mohammed and has not had a lot to tell us since then (at least to give directions, then put into text that people consider His word and law)? Does not that make you wonder?
