How do I find a band to join?

Okauy I'm 14 and I live in this tiny town of 4500 people in northern california I start my freshman year in august and I want to join a band a hard rock-metal band like slipknot,disturbed,korn, etc I want to be lead vocalist and idk how to find a band that is in need of a lead singer, anyone know how I should start trying to find a band that allready has a drummer b and guitarist?
