What can I make to use as ornaments for my miniature Christmas tree?

I have a little Christmas tree for my room which I just put up, but I lost its original ornaments last year and lost the little candy canes I made out of pipecleaner, along with the red and white pipecleaner I used. What can I use to decorate it that I can make with general household items? Thanks, Merry Christmas :)
